Adult Members – consider planning to see Unplanned This Afternoon

Adult Members & Friends: Consider joining Pastor & Nancy Lifer at Starkville’s Hollywood Premier Cinema for the 4:15 p.m. Matinee Showing of the R-rated, powerful Christian film for adults, Unplanned.

Focus on the Family’s Unplugged reviewer says: “Every now and then, a movie comes along that's not just merely ‘good.’ Or merely "must see" water-cooler fare. I'm talking about films that are genuinely important because they force us to see something clearly that perhaps we've never really seen before. I'd put Schindler's List in that category. And Saving Private Ryan. And Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ. Not surprisingly, perhaps, all of those movies are rated R. … I'd put Unplanned in the same category as these films in terms of the emotional wallop it packs. …  Since 1973, an estimated 56 million abortions have been performed in the United States…. Unplanned is an important film because it makes us consider the moral weight of this otherwise mind-numbing statistic.”
