Thanksgiving for Charles Wesikopf: We rejoice and thank God for the birth on Tuesday night, July 10, of Charles William Weiskopf, son of FPC members Lee and Amy Weiskopf, The cradle cross is placed on the pulpit and the rose on the chancel today in thanksgiving to God for Charles’ birth.
Help us Prepare for Our Next DIAPERS & WIPES SHOWER, which will be on August 4 for the Rackleys. Will and Caitlin Rackley are expecting the birth of their second child: Please bring Diapers and/or Wipes to the Church Office during office hours on weekdays or to the Diapers & Wipes Tub in the Fellowship Hall one of the upcoming Sundays of this month.

(Second Sunday) Notice to FPC Members for Congregational and Corporate Meetings NEXT Sunday, July 22:
(1) All members are asked to attend – and all visitors are invited to -- FPC’s Annual Congregational Meeting at the close of the 10:00 a.m. Service next Sunday, July 22, 2018.
Reports and Action Items before the Annual Meeting include:
- a Report on the 2018 Budget and on Your Giving & Ministry Finances to date;
- Other Ministry Planning Updates; and
- The Election of two At-Large congregational members to the 2018-2019 Congregational Nominating Committee. The 2017-2018 Nominating Committee is presenting the following four nominees to be considered when the congregation at its Annual Meeting on July 22 elects two (2) At-Large-Members to serve on the 2018-2019 Congregational Nominating Committee: Amy Aarhus, Wanda Anthony, Pat Bryan, Keith Hodge
(2) Then – following the Annual Congregational Meeting – there will also be NEXT Sunday, July 22, a Special Meeting of the Members of First Presbyterian Church Starkville, Inc. [All active, voting members of the congregation are members of the corporation].
The purpose of this Special Meeting of the Members of FPC, Inc., is to review and act upon the Board of Directors’ recommendation to adopt proposed corporate Bylaws. [All members have received by email or by postal mail a copy of the proposed Bylaws.]
