+The invitation to the Lord’s Table today is open to all baptized and affirming Christian disciples who: (a) are active in fellowship with our church or any other church professing personal faith in salvation through Jesus Christ; (b) have previously been approved by a church for the Lord’s Supper; and (c) are spiritually ready to receive Holy Communion.

Freewill Monthly Offering as Extra Giving Support to FPC’s Local Mission & Benevolence: We invite you to place in one of the baskets at the front of the Chancel – during the closing hymn or following the service – a FPC Local Missions & Benevolence Support Special Offering. This offering is to be given only after disciples first bring their tithe to God and regular offering; it is used to supplement FPC’s local benevolence mission support and mission ministries.

Members of our FPC congregation have given today’s Sanctuary Flowers to the Glory of God and to enhance our worship of God this Lord’s Day.

The rose and cradle cross are placed today in thanksgiving for the birth on Monday, July 15, 2019, of Sadie Grace Massingill to Allen and Alex Massingill. The cradle cross and rose will be given to the family following today’s service, in addition to the “First Bible” that Pastor Lifer gave to Sadie Grace when visiting with and blessing Sadie Grace last week.

Visiting with Us?

We warmly welcome you to our worship of God this Lord’s Day.  Please complete a FIRSTConnect Card and place it in the Offering … or in a FIRSTConnect Box in the entranceways.

If you would like to learn more about growing in faith in Jesus Christ, about church membership and/or about ways you can learn and serve at FPC – then please speak to Pastor Lifer following the service, or call him this week at the church office. You may also send a message to him via email ( ).

A PERSONAL MESSAGE OF THANKS FROM PASTOR LIFER

Dear members and friends of FPC,

On behalf of Nancy and our family, I thank you for your outpouring of love and support —especially for Nancy — this past month. In addition, thanks to those of you who have been interested in a Memorial Gift to support God’s mission. If you wish to make a memorial gift, then you may make it in Memory of Louise to FPC to help FPC Missions: check to FPC, and memo “Haddigan Memorial/Missions.”

Your grateful pastor, Martin Lifer

Members – Submit Your Recommendations for the Nominating Committee’s Consideration for Possible Officer-Nominees

The Nominating Committee has invited each active FPC member to complete a Recommendation for Officer Candidates form. You may recommend active FPC members who are not currently on the Session or Diaconate (or whose terms will expire in January 2019 and who can serve another term or in a new office). As has been the case on previous Sundays:

(1) Please refer to blue folders in vestibules and on tables near Deacon office for the list of current Active members;

(2) Please see the list of current officers [below on this page]; and

(3) If you need a recommendation form, please ask an usher for one.

You should return your recommendation information in the offering THIS MORNING, or email your recommendation to Orly Hardin by TODAY.
