We rejoice and thank God the birth on Monday morning, June 10, of Esther Hall Downey, daughter of FPC members Joel and Laura Downey, The cradle cross is placed on the pulpit and the rose on the chancel today in thanksgiving to God for Esther’s birth.
We also thank God for the 90th birthday today of FPC Elder Emeritus Dero Ramsey, and we rejoice with Dero, Adelaide, and their family. Happy Birthday, Dero!

FPC Women’s Fellowship Wednesday Night at The Grill
All FPC women are invited to join us for a summer fellowship gathering THIS Wednesday, 5:30 pm., at The Central Station Grill, 200 South Montgomery St. We have reserved the Upstairs Room, and appetizers will be provided. Unified Worship 10:00 a.m. Service for our July Sundays
Next month we will have a single, unified Lord’s Day Worship Service beginning at 10:00 am each of the five Sundays of July (1, 8, 15, 22 and 29). In addition, our Children’s and Youth Sunday School will NOT meet during July – to provide a “sabbatical” to our small number of volunteers for Children’s and Youth Sunday School; however, we will provide childcare during the 10:00 am services in July. Beginning Sunday, August 5, we will resume our regular Sunday morning schedule of two services at 8:30 and 11:00 am, and our full Sunday School schedule will be back at 9:45-10:30 on Sunday mornings. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO VOLUNTEER to teach Children’s or Youth Sunday School – this coming fall semester OR during this or next summer – please contact Ashleigh Murdock.
