Opportunity to Pray for (and to Support Financially) Young Adult Member & MSU Student Jack Burton in a Summer Mission-Learning Experience:

The following update is from Jack Burton, a “child of our church” who is now a Young Adult Member. Jack has been accepted to participate in a summer mission-learning experience in East Asia with CRU. Please remember Jack in prayer, and, if God leads you to do so, in providing further support.

Dr. Lifer, Over the summer I will be traveling to East Asia for 6 weeks where my team and I will be participating in a language course on a college campus. The goal of the trip is to use this language course to introduce us and enable us to make lasting relationships with the people (in particular the other students) there. By spending time with them we hope to introduce them to Jesus and the great joy that you and I have in Him!

You may mail a check, made out to “Cru”, to 109 Josey Ave, Starkville, MS 39759 if you feel led to give. You may also give online at www.give.cru.org/1001482

Gratefully in Christ’s service, Jack

Cradle Crosses Needed for Babies on the Way!!  Any Craftsmen out there?

To commemorate births in our church family, we have been ordering wooden cradle crosses from a company that has recently closed.  We are looking for a new supplier for these beautiful crosses.  Is there a member of our church who enjoys wood-working who would like to produce these for us?  Please let Pastor Lifer know, or call the church office.
