Members – Submit Your Recommendations for the Nominating Committee’s Consideration for Possible Officer-Nominees

The Nominating Committee invites each active FPC member to complete a Recommendation for Officer Candidates form. You may recommend active FPC members who are not currently on the Session or Diaconate (or whose terms will expire in January 2019 and who can serve another term or in a new office). As with last Sunday:

(1) Please refer to blue folders in vestibules and on tables near Deacon office for the list of current Active members;

(2) Please see the back page of bulletin for list of current officers; and

(3) If you need a recommendation form, please ask an usher for one.

You should return your recommendation information in the offering today or no later than next Sunday, July 28, or email your recommendation to Orly Hardin by July 28.

Having trouble hearing the service?  We have portable units that are connected directly to our sound system for optimum audio. Please see an usher about these devices!

Members of our FPC congregation have given today’s Sanctuary Flowers to the Glory of God and to enhance our worship of God this Lord’s Day.

Visiting with Us?

We warmly welcome you to our worship of God this Lord’s Day.

Please complete a FIRSTConnect Card and place it in the Offering … or in a FIRSTConnect Box in the entranceways.

To learn more about faith in Jesus Christ, as well as about church membership, your spiritual growth, and ways to learn & serve at FPC – please speak to Pastor Lifer following the service, or call him this week at the church office. You may also send a message to him via email ( ).

TODAY and next Sunday…(July 21 & 28) we have a single, unified Lord’s Day Worship Service beginning at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday this month.

Dear members and friends of FPC,

On behalf of Nancy and our family, I thank you for your outpouring of love and support —especially for Nancy — this month. I particularly thank so many of you for you being with us for the Memorial Service we held here at FPC, and I thank our Women’s Ministry for the Fellowship Reception they hosted for church members and others from the community here for the service. You have truly been vessels of God’s grace to my family.

I also thank those of you who have been interested in a Memorial Gift to support God’s mission. As noted in the obituary for Louise, if you wish to make a memorial gift, then you may make it in Memory of Louise to FPC to help FPC Missions: check to FPC, and memo “Haddigan Memorial/Missions.”

Your grateful pastor, Martin Lifer
