Rising Opposition (in the West) vs. Christians and Growing Tribulation & Persecution in the Rest of the World

The Lord’s Beatitudes/Blessings for His Persecuted Righteous Ones – Matthew 5:10-11

God’s Power for the Prayers of the Righteous

The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous, and his ears toward their cry. - Psalm 34:15 (also Psalm 138:7-8)

Daniel 6

The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. - James 5:16b

Follow God’s Word from James 1:2-8

- When trials confront you, count it joy and thank God … trusting that God is using & will use those trials to build you and your faith in steadfastness and maturity. If you lack wisdom, pray to our generous God asking Him to give you wisdom.

- Pray without doubt or double-mindedness in asking God for wisdom (and for other grace from God).

The Right Prayers of Parents

“But if you can do anything, have compassion on us an help us.” Jesus said to him, ‘If you can?!’ All things are possible for the One Who believes.”  Immediately the father of the child cried out, “I believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:22b-24

Mark 9:28-29 – “only by prayer”

Follow James 1:2-8 in a Different Way to Pray for Our Children (and for others)

- When your children (or other loved ones) undergo trials, count it joy and thank God … trusting God is using those trials to build your loved ones (and you!) in faith, steadfastness & maturity. If THEY lack wisdom, pray to our generous God asking Him to give them wisdom.

- Pray without doubt or double-mindedness when interceding for your children and other loved ones. Ask God to give them wisdom and other gifts that accord with his will.
