The Bible says that children are a heritage of the Lord (Psalm 127:3) Our mission here at First Presbyterian is to nurture children to know and love God. It is our goal that they know that their strength comes from the Lord, and that when Christ is the head of their lives there can be joy and peace in the midst of all circumstances. We are excited about our innovative rotational approach to Sunday School learning experience.
FPC offers Sunday School for even the smallest members on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:30am in the Christian Education Building. All of our classes study The Gospel Project. The curriculum goes through the entire Bible over three years. Our children love it, and they are learning so much as they "walk through the Bible."
The nursery for infants and toddlers is located on the 1st floor of the education building.

Having fun and singing are the keys for this group of young people from preschool through 6th grade. The choirs generally split into two groups: one for younger children (ages 3-6) and one for older children (ages 7-12). Rehearsals are held every Wednesday evening starting at 5:50 p.m. Directors are Kathy McGill & Vivian Cade.

Secrets of the Seed (SOS) is a ministry program for children grades 3-6 on Wednesday nights after Friends and Family and once a month on Sunday at noon, with a number of engaging activities and field trips to help our older children strengthen their faith. SOS meets in the Christian Education Building in their normal Sunday School classroom on the third floor.
