Volunteers Needed for Photo Directory Sessions!!!!!

There are still some slots to be filled by volunteers who will take up the forms, etc. during the photo sessions.  We need help on Friday, August 22, from 6:00-8:30; Saturday, August 23, 10:00-12:30 and 2:30-5:00.  We also need help on Monday, September 8, from 7:00-9:30; Tuesday, September 9, 4:00-6:00 and 6:00-8:00; and Wednesday September 10, 2:00-4:00 and 4:00-6:00.  If anyone can help, please call Becky Thomasson at 662-312-7529.

Also, if you need to make an appointment or change an existing appointment, please call Olan Mills at 800-866-2263.  When you call them, they will probably ask you for the church phone number (662-323-1994) in order to locate FPC’s appointment list on their system.

If our new pictorial directory is to be a success, we need volunteers to assist during photo sessions and, of course, we need our members to sign up to have their photos taken.  As of now, we have approximately 170 family units signed up.  Our goal is a minimum of 200.  With your help, we believe we can achieve this goal!

Thanks.

Church directory photography begins It’s not too late to book an appointment

Church directory photography begins Thursday, August 21. Please arrive in the fellowship hall about 10 minutes before your appointment. If you have not submitted your family’s membership update form (the blue sheet included with the August newsletter), please turn it in when you come to have your picture made. Copies of the form will be available at the registration table, but we encourage you to bring it with you already completed, if possible.

It’s not too late to book an appointment for your church directory picture. Starting Monday, August 18, Olan Mills will begin making reminder phone calls for appointments and will attempt to contact those who have not made appointments. You can either wait to be contacted or you can call them directly at 800-866-2263. (If you call them, they will probably ask you for the church phone number (662-323-1994) in order to locate FPC’s appointment list on their system.) Though most of the August appointments are already filled, there are still plenty of time slots available for the dates of September 8, 9, and 10. We need your help. If 200 families are photographed, Olan Mills will provide, at no charge to the church, one extra copy of the directory for every two families photographed. Please help us reach this goal. But more important, the directory won’t be complete if you aren’t in it!

Also, if you have already booked your appointment and have forgotten the time, please feel free to call Sandra at the church office.  She has a list of those who have already booked.  She cannot, however, make or change an appointment for you.

Thanks,

Peggy Johnson, Chair
Pictorial Directory Committee
