Adults

Adults can find opportunities to grow in their faith with fellow Christians among multiple avenues including Sunday School, Bible Studies, Ministry Committees, Fellowship, Presbyterian Women, Men of the Church, and Missions.

  • Wednesday Night Bible Study at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall

  • Men’s Bible Study, Tuesday Morning at 7:30 am in the Fellowship Hall

BIBLE STUDY

In accordance with our mission and beliefs, FPC is committed to providing Bible study opportunities throughout its programs. We have two adult bible study groups this summer.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Multiple adult Sunday School classes and bible study options are available for all ages and life stages. Sunday School occurs from 9:30 to 10:10 a.m. each Sunday followed by coffee and cinnamon rolls in the Fellowship Hall.

SUNDAY MORNING FELLOWSHIP

Are you thinking about joining our church and would like to get to know us better? Are you a MSU supporter and want to discuss this week’s football, basketball or baseball game? Do you need to touch-base with someone? Just want a cup of coffee? Or, would you like a hot fresh from the oven cinnamon roll with your cup of coffee?

Join us each Sunday morning between services for some great fellowship, wonderful conversations and, if you can force yourself, enjoy the best cinnamon rolls in the state.

Everyone is invited. Pre-Service Sunday might be one of the best places to get to know people in our church and join in the spirit of Christian fellowship.

The Pre-Service runs from 10:10 to approximately 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Women’s Ministry

FPC Women's Ministry is our organization for adult women of every age. The Women's Ministry at FPC Starkville is a very active organization, strongly committed to nourishing our faith through Bible study and putting that faith into action through service. Our activities support the members and programs of our local congregation, as well as missions in our community and beyond.

We also host monthly multi-generational Circle Meetings where women of our church come together to pray and study God’s word. There are multiple meeting times and places so everyone has a chance to get involved in one!

Starting in October, Thursdays at 1 p.m., our women’s ministry meets in the Fellowship Hall to go over the book and videos of “ Experiencing God” by Henry Blackaby, Claude King, & Richard Blackaby.

Contact Rebecca Banzhaf for more information and to get involved: rebecca.banzhaf@icloud.com

Men’s Ministry

FPC Men’s Ministry offers multiple opportunities for men to provide for our church. From our cooking team's fundraisers for Palmer Home for Children to property clean-up days, our Men’s Ministry is dedicated to strengthening the men of our church and supporting our community.
